Roee RemerRoee Remer is a member of the firm's Planning and Zoning and Real Estate Department, and provides legal services to the firm's clients on a wide range of disputes, involving civil litigation and administrative law issues. Mr. Remer also has experience in providing legal counsel on such issues to various local government agencies and local planning committees.Mr. Remer specializes in Expropriation Law, and is currently accompanying Ma'atz –the Israel National Roads Company Ltd., in the legal procedures necessary for large-scale evacuation of infrastructures and expropriations of more than 3000 dunams required for the Highway 531 project, which is one of the main infrastructure projects in Israel today. Mr. Remer conducts negotiations regarding compensation payments (to private citizens, government corporations, cooperatives and others), closes agreements with them on public works and/or evacuation, and litigates in various courts, to secure evacuation of expropriated land and ensure any other steps necessary to deliver land to the concessionaire chosen to construct the project.
